War In Iraq
I think War in Iraq right now is going on unnecessarily. Right now whatever is going on in Iraq, shouldn't be happening. It seems like we are just killing all those innocent people because of some other people which we shouldn't. It's been long time this war is going on, and the government should've think about it. Now, after the election we will see what will be the new president's decision about this Iraqi war. Whatever decision they will take, I think this should be stopped. It will be good for Iraq innocent people and so as the American soldiers. Hopefully, the President of 2008 will take the right decision and will bring back the US soldiers and give Iraq peace.

About 4 Political Themes
The 4 Political Themes that i chose were; I Love Children, I Support the Elderly, I am a Sports Fan, I am not Rich.
I agree with all those 4 political issues but the one I agree with is, I love Children. I chose this Political Theme because no matter what and how all the politicians are, they all childrens. Kids/childrens are innocent and beautiful as flowers. So I don't think any could be harsh on Children. The least poilitical theme i agree with is, I am not Rich. I disagree with this because I do not think Politicians are really not rich! They are RICH but I think they act like they are not Rich!

Media and The Election of 2008
The videos in www.johnmccain.com and www.barackobama.com where both the candidates talks about the things they will do if they win. They both is trying to let each other down indirectly!
The ad I watched was about the future education development in USA. Barack Obama said, things happened in his life and his education. He tells about how his family and his parents supported him and planned his education. On the other hand, John Mccain said, he has better education plan for US. All the kids will get chance to go to school. They both want us to see these ad's to vote for them and elect them as next US President.
Hopefully people of USA will understand these two people plans for the country's future and they will vote the deserving person.

Compare the Candidates
Renewable Energy
If by creating some new renewable energy in US helps this country a lot and will help the people of this country then I would like to say that i support Barack Obama in this arguement. If creating this energy helps getting 10% of electricity by next 4 years and makes a big amount of profit for this country, then it will be a big economic change also the position of US will go much higher than right now. If creating this renewable energy helps some of the people getting better job where right now they can't find any job, that will be a great thing for this country. The places where it says NO VACANCY will be remove and will be some better jobs for those hopeless people. Advanced bio fuels, and other clean tech will give something new and big gift to the US nation.

HI,
I am Salma Jahan and I am from Bangladesh. I am a immigrant in this country and i am in this country about 7 years. So far the economical, political, geographical things that I observed about this country is pretty good but I think the political issues are not that clear to me. There big differences between my country political issues and USA political issues. I think in my country the political issues are more open and messy but right now I am more interested in USA politics and their Presidential policies because I think there are things that people of US want to know more about. As we all know that the Elecetion of 2008 is very interesting and anything can happen in this Election of 2008. Everybody wants to do something good for their country but who to believe and who is being honest, We don't know that. By saying, 'I will do this and that' makes people happy but also poeple wants to see it because we all want to live a beautiful life peacefully.
About International high school i want to say that this school gave me a lot and i learned a lot of things in this 4 years. Since this is my last year in this school I am enjoying and I didn't think that this specialized high school is one of the awesome high school. The teachers, freinds those i look out for, my counselor. I even got little job in this school where i learned so many things about technology and i think the workers in that department are the best. I could see my future clearly everytime i attend each of my classes.
The purpose of this blog is to know more and discuss about the political issues of 2008 in USA. This year each person in this country are curious to know who will be the next president and what are changes will be happening for next 4 years. I don't know about other people but I know that I don't want to see this country bullying other country or having any kind of war, let's have some peace.
